PostSubject: KO Cup format change   Fri May 03, 2013 10:32 am

We are proposing a trial change to the KO cup format this season to try and give more teams a chance to win and also experience a cup final on finals night. We will be running a plate competition alongside the main KO cup so the losing 1st round teams will get a 2nd chance to play in another cup competition.

    The idea is to -

1. Get more people interested in playing the KO cup.
2. Give teams who rarely get to the later stages another chance to make the finals.
3. Get more people playing on finals night.
4. Teams will gain more experience and improve their game (hopefully!!)

The current fee for entering the KO cup is £6.00 per team and we are planning on keeping this the same. If you are interested you can contact myself or Lorraine. The numbers are on the fixture sheets.
